Most Innovative Countries in the World
The Global Innovation Index (2022) uses 81 different metrics to give the most up-to-date ranking of 132 economies innovations around the world.
The Index ranks nations based on the characteristics of a robust innovation economy. These are examples of R&D spending, overall market strength, patent systems and production, and local labor capital. And although a few nations continuously rank high, others move in and out of the top 20.
The most recent information from the World Intellectual Property Organization was used to create the list.
