It is estimated that Arnault and his family have a net worth of US$203 billion, making him the world’s richest person.

2. Elon Musk (US$182 billion)

Elon Musk is an entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX; angel investor, CEO, and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; owner and CEO of Twitter, Inc.; founder of the Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI; and president of the philanthropic Musk Foundation. He is the world’s second wealthiest person, with an estimated net worth of about US$182 billion.

3. Jeff Bezos (US$139 billion)

Jeff Bezos is an American entrepreneur, media proprietor, investor, and commercial astronaut. He’s the founder, chairman, and former president and CEO of Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer and cloud computing company. He is the 3rd richest person in the world, with a fortune of US$139 billion. Between 2017 and 2021, he was the richest man in the world.

4. Bill Gates (US$126 billion)

Bill Gates is a billionaire, philanthropist, and investor in the United States. He and his late childhood friend Paul Allen are best known for founding the software giant Microsoft. During his career at Microsoft, Gates was Chairman, CEO, President & Chief Software Architect, and the highest individual shareholder until May 2014. He is the fourth-wealthiest person in the world, with a net worth of US$126 billion.

5. Warren Buffett (US$115 billion)

Warren Buffett is a billionaire investor and philanthropist from the U.S. He’s the chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway. As a result of his enormous investment performance, he is one of the world’s best-known fundamental investors. He is the 5th richest individual in the world, with a net worth of US$115 billion.

6. Larry Ellison (US$114 billion)

 Larry Ellison is a businessman and an investor in the United States. He is the co-founder, chief technology officer (CTO), executive chairman, and former chief executive officer (CEO) of the American computer technology company Oracle Corporation. He is the sixth-wealthiest person in the world, with an estimated fortune of US$114 billion.

7. Larry Page (US$113 billion)

Larry Page is a billionaire American businessman, computer scientist, and internet entrepreneur. He is best known for founding Google with Sergey Brin. Between 1997 and August 2001, when he became Chief Executive of Google’s newly established parent company, Alphabet Inc., Page was also its CEO between April 2011 and July 2015. He resigned as chief executive of Alphabet in 2019, but he retains a seat on the board and an ownership stake. By 23 May 2023, Page had an estimated net worth of US$113 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, ranking him the 7th richest person in the world.

8. Steve Ballmer (US$112 billion)

Steve Ballmer was an American entrepreneur and investor who served as CEO of Microsoft from 2000 to 2014. He also owns the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. According to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index, he is valued at approximately US$112 billion as of 23 May 2023, making him the eighth richest person globally.

9. Sergey Brin (US$107 billion)

Sergey Brin is a billionaire from the United States who started Google with Larry Page. Until his resignation on 3 December 2019, he was the president of Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company. Brin’s net worth is estimated to be US$107 billion as of 23 May 2023, making him the 9th richest person globally.

10. Mark Zuckerberg (US$90.8 billion)

Mark Zuckerberg is a billionaire, philanthropist, and internet entrepreneur from the United States. He is known for co-founding Facebook and its parent company, Meta Platforms (previously Facebook, Inc.). He is also the executive chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder of this company. He is the 10th-richest person in the world, with an estimated net worth of US$90.8 billion.
